Miracles In Your Day

That sounds horrible, doesn’t it: What good are miracles? My thoughts go automatically to the thoughts of denial and lack of value. I can hear the voice, feel the contempt of any person that would say, “What good are miracles”. Can you see that person too? We’ve all known someone who has felt that way, maybe even felt that once or twice in our lives.

When I talk about “What good are miracles”, I’m not really talking about our recognition of our accomplishments in life. Let me illustrate with a story.

Yesterday I gave individual spiritual insight sessions at the Boeing Parapsychology Club’s semi-annual fair. One of the ladies at a nearby booth came by early in the day, and we talked very briefly. It was nearly the end of the day before she returned and took her place in the reading chair.

We dove deeply into her offerings to the world and her measure of those gifts. A portion of the session was spent in illuminating and releasing prior experiences that could tip the scales and make the day into a statistic. Why lessen our life events into the good or bad numbers game, are we really keeping score on our assessment of life success?

Something, or someone, lead me to delve a little deeper, and I found our next step. Recognition. Think of how it feels to be recognized: there is a connectivity, a sharing exchange. We can be machine-like and go through every step from concept to creation, but what value is that in the long run? Next question: What makes us Divine? The ability to learn, grow, evolve.

I vote for a Revolution into Evolution. It’s time we see how empowered we are, and own our creativity. It’s time we take living past the animalistic-reactive level, and recognize that Divine aspect that every one of us possesses. We are all miracle makers, whether big or small. Now is the time to believe. What good are miracles? Each miracle is a step to recognizing our higher self.
